How Do I Prepare Sea Moss?

Directions:
1. Rinse well up to 4 times to remove salt
and ocean debris.
2. Soak the sea moss in a bowl in natural
spring, distilled or alkaline water and cover
the bowl. Refrigerate for 12-24 hours. The
sea moss will become enlarged and
jelly-like. Optional: Add lime or lemon for
flavor to offset the ocean taste.
3. Place sea moss and some of the same
water in a high speed blender until you
receive desired consistency.
4. Store the sea moss into an airtight
container/mason jar and refrigerate.

How Do I Use Sea Moss?

Sea moss can be consumed alone in gel form or mixed into almost anything you eat such as smoothies, juices, yogurts, teas, coffees,desserts, salad dressings, soups, porridge, stews and more. Sea moss gel can also be used as a face mask for beauty treatment. You can also use it as a treatment to soothe cuts and bruises on the skin.

Dried sea moss when stored in a cool place can last up to 1 year depending on when it was harvested. Sea moss in gel form can last up 3 weeks when refrigerated or a few months when frozen.

How Much Sea Moss Should I Consume Daily?

The recommended intake for sea moss ranges from 2-4 tablespoons per day.
